Shooting with models, in rental kitchens, is a great way to show off a product. But Cat, copywriter, and I got tired of posing imaginary coffee drinkers in their pretend homes. We desired some authenticity when coming up with our holiday campaign—showing a real, super cool human being, in their own home, speaking to how the Aiden Coffee Maker actually improves their life. When brainstorming folks to feature, we thought instantly of our friend Lauren Segal, a fantastic mother and photographer who shot our Series 1 launch campaign. What we got was an authentic story about how Aiden powers up parents to excel in parenthood and in their creative life.
